Fatih Dönmez, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Met with Energy Giants
Petroleum Istanbul Fair, one of the largest and most visited fairs of the world in its area, was held with the attendance of Fatih Dönmez, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources. After the opening ceremony, Fatih Dönmez, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, visited the joint stand of Aygaz, the leading brand of LPG industry, OPET, the customer satisfaction leader of the fuel distribution sector, and Tüpraş, the largest industrial enterprise of Turkey, and received information from the representatives of the companies.
Istanbul, 28 March 2019 – Aygaz, OPET and TÜPRAŞ, members of Koç Energy Group, were in Istanbul 2019 - 14th International Petroleum, LPG, Mineral Oil, Equipment, and Technology Fair, organized in Beylikdüzü TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center. The Koç Energy Group stand attracted great attention from sector representatives, dealers, potential dealers, and fair visitors. Fatih Dönmez, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, received information from the officials of Tüpraş, OPET, and Aygaz during his visits to the stands after the opening ceremony. Dönmez, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, also examined the vehicle named “monster,” which was manufactured by Aygaz to show that autogas is a high-octane fuel, and received information about the specifications of LPG and the vehicle.
Having met with the representatives of Tüpraş, which is the largest industrial Corporation of Turkey and the 7th largest refinery in Europe, Minister Dönmez also received information about the products and services by closely examining the Ultramarket concept of Opet, one of the leading brands of the fuel distribution sector.
Koç Energy Group brands are taking part in the Petroleum Istanbul Fair to observe the latest developments in the national and international arena and to share their work with visitors and participants. This fair, which brings public and private institutions and organizations related to energy together, along with the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and EMRA, is considered an important platform for collaboration by national, regional, and international energy companies. The Petroleum Istanbul Fair, the main theme of which was extended this year to cover LPG, mineral oils, and equipment along with auto LNG, auto CNG, electrical car charger stations, and station markets, will continue in Tüyap until March 30.
