  • We received a $150-million loan from EBRD for use in environmental and energy efficiency projects.
  • We launched the Tüpraş Supplier Portal.

  • We signed the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (UN WEPs). 
  • We inaugurated the Waste Water Recovery Unit at Izmir Refinery. 
  • We received ISO 10002 Customer Satisfaction Management System certification.
  • We established the Innovation Department and launched the Idea Unit Portal. 
  • We initiated ISO 14064 greenhouse gas verification.

  • We supported the HeForShe movement in cooperation with Fenerbahçe Sports Club and UN Women. 
  • We established Tüpraş Solution Center to boost customer satisfaction.
  • We opened Data Analytics Centers at Middle East Technical University Teknokent and İstanbul Technical University Teknokent.

  • We participated in the 25th Climate Change Conference (COP25).
  • We provided technology and design training to
    12,000 students under the “Energy to the Future: I Code, I Model, I Produce” CSR project. 
  • Our Energy for Students CSR Project introduced 3,000 students to science experiments.

  • We received Basic Level Zero Waste Certificates for all our refineries. 
  • We established Tüpraş Academy at Kırıkkale Refinery. 
  • We signed a long-term cooperation agreement with Emerald Industrial Innovation Fund, an international venture capital fund.
  • Under the HeForShe movement, cooperating with Fenerbahçe Sports Club and UN Women, we organized the 16 Days of Activism – End Violence Against Women Campaign. 
  • We reported in line with the Sustainability Principles Compliance Framework by the Capital Markets Board (CMB). 
  • We initiated the Customer Notification Management System.

  • We participated in the 26th Climate Change Conference (COP26).
  • We introduced “Energy to the Future: Strategic Transition Plan” in pursuit of our 2050 Carbon Neutral goal.
  • We became the first company in Türkiye to be listed in the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index (GEI). 
  • We established the Diversity, Equality, and Inclusiveness Committee. 
  • We launched the Terminal Automation System at Izmit Refinery with a view to digitalizing the refinery.
  • We received ISO 45001:2018 OHS Management System certification. 
  • Körfez Ulaştırma deployed seven hybrid-locomotives.
  • We approved the Policy of Diversity in the Board of Directors and agreed to increase female representation on the Board to 25 percent within five years.
  • We updated our Code of Ethics and Policies on Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption, Donation and Sponsorship, Human Rights, Diversity in the Board of Directors, Foreign Trade Control, Sanctions and Export Controls, Compliance with the Competition Law, Gifts and Hospitality, and Supply Chain Compliance. 
  • We formulated Compliance and Social Investment Policies. 
  • We became the first company in Türkiye to implement the EFQM Model updated by UN SDGs.

  • We identified material issues in sustainability considering stakeholder expectations and applied the Materiality Analysis.
  • We founded the Sustainability Committee.
  • We became a supporter of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
  • We acquired shares of Entek Elektrik Üretimi A.Ş. 
  • We signed a licensing agreement with Honeywell regarding the use of UOP Ecofining™ technology to manufacture Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
  • We entered the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) for the second time. 
  • We announced our Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions for the ISO 14064 standard. 
  • We established Tüpraş Ventures (Tüpraş Enerji Girişimleri A.Ş.)
  • We joined the Hydrogen Europe platform. 
  • We approved Framework Policies on Whistleblowing, Discipline, and the Protection of Personal Data.
  • We introduced the Diversity, Equality, and Inclusiveness Policy. 
  • We declared our commitments under the Gender Equality Action Group on Technology and Innovation within the UN Generation Equality Forum. 
  • We were listed in numerous national and international sustainability indices, including BIST, Refinitiv, MSCI ESG Rating, FTSE4Good, Sustainalytics ESG Rating, Vigeo Eiris (Moody’s ESG Solutions), and Bloomberg Gender Equality Index.

  • Tüpraş Head Office building received the Basic Level Zero Waste Certificate.
