2007
- Published our first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report
- Established our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Policy

2008
- Published our first CSR Report compliant with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards
- Established the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001)

2009
- Commissioned the Wastewater Recovery Unit at the İzmit Refinery;
- Launched the Customer Relationship Management System and Contractor Management System

2010
- Established our R&D Center
- Developed the Tüpraş Code of Ethics
- Initiated the Waste Management Program across our refineries

2013
- Attained ISO 50001:2011 Energy Management System certification
- Qualified ISO/IEC 27001:2005 Information Security Management System certification

2014
- Ranked among the top 15 companies on the BIST 30 Index
- We have inaugurated our R&D Center Campus

2015
- Participated in the 21st UN Climate Change Conference (COP21), where the Paris Agreement was adopted
- Commissioned a new Wastewater Recovery Unit at the İzmit Refinery
- Ranked among the top 30 companies on the BIST 50 Sustainability Index

2016
- Participated in the 22nd United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP22)
- Secured a $150 million loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for environmental and energy efficiency projects
- Launched the Tüpraş Supplier Portal
- Included in the BIST 50 Sustainability Index for the third consecutive year

2017
- Participated in the 23rd United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP23)
- Became a signatory of the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles (UN WEPs)
- Commissioned the Wastewater Recovery Unit at the İzmir Refinery
- Received ISO 10002 Customer Satisfaction Management System certification
- Established the Innovation Department and launched the Idea Unit Portal
- Initiated ISO 14064 greenhouse gas verification

2018
- Participated in the 24th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP24)
- Supported the HeForShe movement through our partnership with Fenerbahçe Sports Club and UN Women
- Established the Tüpraş Solution Center to strengthen customer satisfaction
- Opened Data Analytics Centers at METU and ITU Technopark

2019
- Participated in the 25th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP25)
- Provided technology and design training to 12,000 students through the Our Energy to the Future: I Code, I Model, I Produce CSR project
- Introduced 3,000 students to science experiments through the Our Energy for the Students CSR project

2020
- Received Basic Level Zero Waste Certificates for all refineries
- Established the Tüpraş Academy at the Kırıkkale Refinery
- Signed a longterm cooperation agreement with the Emerald Industrial Innovation Fund, an international venture capital fund
- Organized the 16 Days of Activism – End Violence Against Women campaign in cooperation with Fenerbahçe Sports Club and UN Women under the HeForShe movement
- Reported in line with the Sustainability Principles Compliance Framework of the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (CMB)
- Launched the Customer Notification Management System

2021
- Participated in the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26).
- Announced our "Energy for the Future: Strategic Transformation Plan" in line with our 2050 Net Zero target.
- Became the first company in our sector from Turkey to be included in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI).
- Established the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
- Commissioned the Terminal Automation System at İzmit Refinery as part of our digital refinery transformation.
- Received the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate.
- Commissioned 7 hybrid locomotives through Körfez Ulaştırma.
- Approved the Board Diversity Policy, adopting a target of 25% female representation on the Board within five years.
- Updated our policies on Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Donations and Sponsorships, Human Rights, Board Diversity, Trade Compliance, Sanctions and Export Controls, Competition Law Compliance, Gifts and Hospitality, Supply Chain Compliance, and Code of Ethics.
- Introduced new Compliance and Social Investment Policies.
- Became the first company in Turkey to implement the updated EFQM Model aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

2022
- Participated in the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27).
- Identified priority sustainability topics and conducted a Materiality Analysis in line with stakeholder expectations.
- Established the Sustainability Committee.
- Became a supporter of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
- Acquired Entek Elektrik A.Ş.
- Signed a licensing agreement with Honeywell to use UOP Ecofining™ technology for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production.
- Included in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) for the second time.
- Disclosed Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with ISO 14064 standard.
- Established Tüpraş Energy Ventures Inc.
- Became a member of the Hydrogen Europe platform.
- Adopted the Whistleblowing, Disciplinary, and Personal Data Protection Framework Policies.
- Implemented the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Policy.
- Announced our commitments under the UN Generation Equality Forum’s Gender Equality Action Coalition on Technology and Innovation.
- Featured in numerous national and international sustainability indices including BIST, Refinitiv, MSCI ESG Rating, FTSE4Good, Sustainalytics ESG Rating, Vigeo Eiris (Moody’s ESG Solutions), and Bloomberg Gender Equality Index.

2023
- Participated in the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28).
- Published our first Integrated Annual Report.
- Conducted limited assurance for 271 Sustainability Performance Indicators.
- Disclosed 85 Sustainability Performance Indicators for the first time.
- Consolidated Sustainability Performance Indicators across all subsidiaries.
- Completed our first EU Taxonomy alignment reporting.
- Verified our 2017–2023 Scope 3 emissions in accordance with ISO 14064 and publicly disclosed them for the first time.
- Achieved a “B – Management Level” score in CDP Climate Change and Water Security programs.
- Launched the Sustainable Supply Chain Program.
- Became a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC).
- Became the first Turkish industrial company to join the Water Europe platform.
- Obtained limited assurance from an independent auditor for our sustainability performance indicators.
- Joined the UN Generation Equality Forum’s Gender Equality Action Coalition on Technology and Innovation.
- Received the Basic Level Zero Waste Certificate for Tüpraş Headquarters.
- Won the “Best Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Program” award in the Institutional Investor Survey.
- Received first prize in the “Large-Scale Enterprise” category at the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry Sustainability Awards.
- Graduated the first cohort of the “Innovation in Young Minds and Women Entrepreneurship Program” in collaboration with Batman University.

2024
- Participated in the 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29).
- Published our TSRS-aligned Integrated Annual Report.
- In our 2024 Integrated Annual Report, we disclosed Scope 3 emissions verified under ISO 14064 since 2017, detailed across 15 categories in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
- Included in the BIST Sustainability 25 Index.
- Ranked 15th among 405 sector companies in the Global Refinitiv Index.
- Featured in the FTSE4Good Index for the fourth time with a consistent score increase over four consecutive years.
- Invested in two green hydrogen start-ups through Tüpraş Ventures.
- Won the 2024 Sustainability and Impact Gold Award from the Artificial Intelligence Factory.
