Sustainable Refining
As part of our strategic roadmap, we are utilizing our existing resources to fuel our transformation while pursuing sustainability in our refining operations by investing in energy efficiency, increased productivity, and value-added products.
From 2025 to 2035,
Capital Expenditure ~$3.9 billion
Cumulative EBITDA ~$13 billion
Improvement in Energy Density from 102,2 (Base Year = 2017) → 88,7

Biofuels
We know that biofuels are the key to decarbonizing the aviation industry. Therefore, we are working to further advance our sustainability vision through environmentally friendly fuel production and to become Türkiye's leading sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) manufacturer.
We plan to process vegetable and animal-based waste raw materials in the new unit we will establish at the İzmir Refinery, producing 300,000 tons of SAF, renewable diesel, and other products annually.
As part of the project, we will use Honeywell's UOP Ecofining™ technology. For SAF production, we secured raw material supply with the 10-year trade and supply agreements we made in 2024.
Capital Expenditure

Zero-Carbon Electricity
While we will use most of the electricity produced in our future green hydrogen generation plants for integration purposes, we will also sell electricity for optimization purposes and provide zero-carbon electricity to consumers.
In our goal to become Turkey's leading zero-carbon electricity producer, we continue our zero-carbon electricity investments with Entek, which we incorporated in 2022. We aim to reach an installed capacity of 1 GW by 2030 and 2.5 GW by 2035.
From 2025 to 2035;
Capital Expenditure
~$2.8 billion*
Cumulative EBITDA
~$2 billion*

Green Hydrogen
As Turkey's largest gray hydrogen producer, we focus on producing green hydrogen with electrolyzers that stand out for zero emissions among hydrogen production methods. In this context, we follow both different electrolyzer technologies and potential sectors and applications. We have completed the basic engineering work for the installation of a 20MW pilot electrolyzer for green hydrogen production. We aim to complete the pilot electrolyzer installation between 2028-2030 and use green hydrogen in SAF production by 2030.
