At Tüpraş, we believe in supporting the startup ecosystem and nurturing innovation. Apply to the Inowhatif Startup Challenge Program to create value for Tüpraş and take your startup to the next level!
Our application process begins every year in April. In the first step, we carefully evaluate your applications and select the most suitable startups for our program during the April. In May, we kick off the onboarding process for the selected startups, getting to know you more closely.
Throughout the summer, in July and August, we organize technical meetings with you to explore your ideas and projects in detail. During this period, we hold one-on-one meetings with our technical teams and assess the potential for collaboration.
In September and October, we move on to the case building phase with the startups selected based on our criteria. In this phase, we discuss in detail how your project can contribute to Tüpraş. Then, in November, you’ll present your Tüpraş-specific Proof of Concept (PoC), and together, we’ll start moving forward to the next steps.

The program is open to all startups with completed laboratory-scale tests and trials, finished prototypes and applications, and the ability to come up with industrial applications for PoC, demo, or pilot stages (>TRL4).
1- Business development with corporate partners

1- An innovation committee will assess initiatives and select the most creative value propositions suitable for Tüpraş.
2- Chosen startups will showcase their solutions for Tüpraş at a company-wide online event.
3- A paid demo and PoC process will be conducted with the startups considered most innovative and aligned with Tüpraş's requirements.

There is no set deadline for applications. However, if you wish to participate in the fiscal year, we suggest submitting your application by the end of March. All startups that are able to meet Tüpraş’s needs in priority operational areas (Digital Solutions, IoT, Sensor Technologies, Robotics, Renewable Technologies, and Environmental Waste Management) by presenting innovative solutions with finished prototypes (>TRL4).
The program will continue for four months and will be completed with the case presentations to be held in November and December.
The jury members will evaluate the solutions by their impact on Tüpraş, the novelty of their value propositions, and the expertise of their teams.
Tüpraş Inowhatif Startup Challenge took place for the first time in 2023 with the participation of nearly 100 startups. Eight startups with the potential to add value to Tüpraş made their presentations at the head office and joined the discussions regarding the further stages of their applications.
