Tüpraş is now the biggest Jet Fuel Supplier of Istanbul Airport

Tüpraş will sell 1.8 million tonnes jet fuel per year to Istanbul Airport for a period of 5 years as a result of the tender, organized by IGA Istanbul Havalimanı Akaryakıt Hizmetleri A.Ş.

Results of the tender, organized by İGA Istanbul Havalimanı Akaryakıt Hizmetleri A.Ş. for supply of jet fuel, needed by Istanbul Airport, are announced and Tüpraş was entitled to sell 1.8 million tonnes jet fuel per year to Istanbul Airport for a period of 5 years and the sales of jet fuel has begun accordingly.

Annual fuel need of Istanbul Airport, one of the largest airports of the world, is expected to be more than 3 million tonnes for the first year and Tüpraş was awarded with the largest share of the tender by being selected to sell 1.8 million tonnes jet fuel per year as a result of the tender. The company will meet almost 60 percent of jet fuel need of Istanbul Airport.

Tüpraş has fulfilled its responsibilities in meeting the fuel demand of aviation industry by selling 4.7 million tonnes of civil jet fuel and the fuel need of our country by selling 2.3 million tonnes of gasoline, 12 million tonnes of diesel fuel and approximately 1 million tonnes of LPG last year.
